The first issue of the official journal of the Mahaweli Water Security investment Program “Isurudiya” was presented to His Excellency the President, Maithripala Sirisena on 28th August 2019.
Isurudiya will be published as a monthly newsletter of MWSIP with the latest news and articles on MWSIP updates in construction, environment, and social together with historical remarks in Mahaweli and irrigation sector in Sri Lanka. In addition it focuses the school students giving space for their creations too.
Every volume of the “Isurudiya” will be circulated among government ministries, line agencies, key farmer organizations, school libraries and project stakeholders.
