Members of farmer organizations of Dewahoowa scheme visited construction works in North Western Province Canal Project (NWPCP) and went on observing the ongoing constructions along the Dewahoowa feeder canal.
Farmers were impressed about the constructions and said that it was a great opportunity for them to visit the construction as the first beneficiary group of NWPCP. Farmers firmly mentioned that they extend their maximum support for the success of NWPCP.
Officials of NWPCP facilitated the visit and explained the present progress and construction plan.
The cross visits to the project construction sites is one of the communication activities identified for awareness rising among MWSIP stakeholders.
