The discussion was held on Mahaweli Centre with the participation of PDs of PIUs, Key-staff of PMU, and PMDSC under the observation of MoI and ADB representatives. The main objective of the program was to reconcile the roles in MWSIP. The goal of this exercise was to establish a consensus on the roles of different entities and elements that exist within MWSIP program. Initially, the participates were requested to express their perception of vital entities/elements. The entities/elements i.e. GOSL/MoI, ADB, PMU, PIU, PMDSC, FAM were presented to them. Once the participants made their perceptions on the above entities and elements the Consulted made his presentation with his research findings on the role perception of MWSIP.
