Program Management Unit (PMU) of Mahaweli Water Security Investment Program (MWSIP) has re-opened and back to work on the lifting of some strict rules imposed by the Government with turning down the infection rate of COVID 19 in the country.
The Office of PMU was reopened on 11th May 2020 and limited staff is being attended for works in a rotation. Program Director and key members of the PMU held a planning meeting for preparing a short term schedule in order to recommence the works in field sites which have been temporally holding in due to the outbreak of COVID 19 Pandemic.
MWSIP is making necessary arrangements to continue the works in project implementation units, construction sites, and other works units as usual.
