Program Director Eng. Mr. Nihal Siriwardena recently conducted a field observation visit to closely monitor the progress of several key programes of NWPCP. These include the construction of buildings for the wildlife department, the development of the project observation bungalow, and the restoration of the Dumimiya-Siyambalangamuwa elephant fence. Additionally, the visit focused on the provision of goods for the crop protection field electric fence and the ongoing construction of the Maha Kirula road.
The visit was attended by officials from NWPCP & the project director Eng.Mr.Indika Kumara, representatives from contracting companies, and officials from the wildlife conservation department. Together, they assessed the progress and took necessary steps to ensure the timely completion of these projects. All programs are scheduled for completion in the near future.
